Maine Equipment & Party Rental has the experience and knowledge of the event rental industry with over 50 years combined experience. We have supplied party and event rental equipment for local colleges, Eastern Maine Health Care, many festivals and community fairs, local business tent sales, private parties, and weddings. Our service area has been but not limited to Madawaska, Port Clyde, Vinal Haven and private islands off the coast of Maine, as well as an event for MEMIC on Great Diamond Island in Casco Bay. Ted Caruso, owner, opened Maine Equipment & Party Rental in June of 2006. Ted's career in the rental business spans more then 34 years, which includes over 19 years of management experience in the rental industry as well as having started two other successful rental stores for other owners.
Ted helped restart the Maine chapter of the AMERICAN RENTAL ASSOCIATION in 2004 and was elected President of the Maine chapter of ARA , and April 2009 was elected to his sixth term as President. At the Feb.2006 national Rental Convention in Orlando Florida, Ted was the recepient of the "2005 Outstanding State Leadership Award". In October of 2006 Ted was appointted to the ARA's Government Affairs Committee. At the Feb.2007 National Rental Convention in Atlanta Ga., Ted was the recepient of the ARA's 2006 Region One(Northeast States) "Person of The Year Award". In December of 2007 Ted was appointed to the Events Task Force for the 2009 Tents & Events Conference at The Rental Show in Atlanta, Ga., March 2009.

Jim Sickler has over 20 years experience in the tent and event rental industry with management experience as well. Jim's knowledge of the event industry includes tent erection, planning, site evaluation,
dispatching, warehouse managing and crew supervising. Jim has worked for Ted for several years, which makes them a great team to lead this company to the forefront of customer service, satisfaction and quality work.
